Microsoft Training

Salam wbt..

So what actually happened last week? 3 days of full course for 21st century blended learning yada yada...haha

I thought it would be boring but hei NO! it was fun. Much fun.

Did you know that microsoft actually invest in education and they have their domain bought by the MOE about 10thousands (how much 0 is that?) licensed every year?

That's why every lecturer/staff in university in Malaysia have ".edu.my" for example mine is **ffreena@ut**.edu.my

So from the licensed bought by MOE (thanks to them) we can fully utilized the apps in microsoft office.

So last week we learned a few and we'll continue for another 2 session

Here are the lists of the things I've learned last week

1. What are actually blended learning?

There are 6 criteria such as Collaborative , knowledge construct, real word problem solving, used of ICT for learning, Self- regulation and skilled communication

The presenter did explained what it's all about for example knowledge construct doesn't mean we gave a title, they did a research and just copy what they get from the internet, but rather, did research, investigate, analyse and give own approach to meet the title objective

2. Using mix.office.com as a plug in to the conventional microsoft power point
This si quite cool! You can record yourslef givign presentation, you can even screen record! so that u can show them how to use the software etc.

This apps give me ideas for the students to do their presentation earlier and we can save time on presentation slots!

Oh didn't i tell you the students also get the same privilege as they also have emails ending .edu.my

3. We learned how to use "SWAY"

SWAY is kinda website, but which is very easy to use
If u have a presentation and u have not much time, u can just use sway and click the remix button and tada! you have done planning your presentation the coolest way ever!
I''ll try this this semester!

Oh what else did we learned?>ermm I don"t remember much but I guess this 3 components make up the most. Actually as a person who lives in the era of transition from conventional teaching method to the technology era, we are the generation that should and are able to explore this more. We know the demand and are very fast adapting to this kind of technology

Hopefully I can utilized this for my teaching and learning process

Till then!Thanx PSTP utem for the opportunity

MRT free ride experience

Salam wbt

Was thinking to start jotting all the experience here again..So that i'll never forget. And my kidds can get through them later

So it was sunday when abi decide that we should try the free mrt ride since the last period is until yesterday.(Monday)

So we get packed, and went to KL yesterday. We really had fun haahh 2hours of free mrt ride. The kids had the most fun la of course. No ikea whatsoever just MRT
Maryam keep repeating "train train train" hahaha unfortunately this train no chuu chuu la maryam like the one u saw on TV and thomas

Well, my comment is that it's very spacious.the station, the MRT, equipt well with pedestrian path if the MRT decide to stop halfway before reaching the station..
The lift, the disable and kids changing diaper's toilet
I give 5 star! Just that they might have to improve regarding on the path to link the parking lot with the station because we had to walked our way from the parking area to the station.there are no direct link

that's all.enjoy the picture

supplement during pregnancy

To take supplement or to not taking supplements?

 https://www.cbhs.com.au/news/2015/03/12/are-antioxidant-supplements-good-bad-or-completely-unnecessary-

Been reading some articles about taking supplement. I'm not a supplement girl all this while. I dont believe in them actually. I choose to go natural .eat a lot of fruits, vege, and clean diet(no processed, canned food or fast food)

But Allah has bestowed me with a child suffering from severe eczema a little while ago and still has flare sometimes when I have my craving period and eat all those cakes/sweet/fastfood and the meat and beef that he is allergic to(he's a full breastfeeding baby).
During the severe eczema period, I've taken some supplement and still continuing in hoping for the best skin condition for him and the best nutrient for his body. And along the way, I got pregnant and have my miscarriage..
I'm wondering does this supplement is the cause?because apparently the reason for the miscarriage is something common said the doctor..maybe because of chromosomal abnormalities...
I have 2 babies previously on the note.Obviously it's not because of my uterus etc...

I'm just wondering.does this is because of all those antioxidant I ate for nu'man?or because of overdose of supplement hahaha But seriously I dont eat much. I have some VCO,almanna and baobab in the morning, and vitamin C 1 capsule + Omega guard 1 capsule.
sometimes I'll alternate with calcium. When the skin condition is not so good,I'll up the dose of Vitamin C with 2 capsule and eat more garlics....

But nowadays I rarely eat VCO+almanna+baobab because I'm a lazy bump. I eat vitamin C occasionally only when I'm in the office and I had my breakfast earlier..I eat multivitamin sometimes and calcium alternately.
If I had my holiday, I wont eat all those vitamin because they are in my office. I got an advice earlier, make sure our body have "the rest" period from all those supplement occasionally...

let say 2 weeks without them and continue...
because u dont want to burden your kidney with all those supplement everyday.
Even u have drink plenty of water.
Try google water toxicity..
 In a nutshell.eat everything moderate.
