Back in Kanazawa years on 2012 something, there is one young egyptian woman who volunteered to be an imam for terawih at our international house. I was not living there during that time any longer so I sometimes went and joined.
What amaze me was the woman is about the same age like me and is a hafizah masha Allah!(Married with one kid) Dia punya bacaan quran tu menusuk ke jiwa. Bila baca surah attaubah suaranya marah, bila baca ayat ayat memohon suaranya merintih.
That was the best terawih prayer I had in life and I still remember that moment.
One day, she was in menses so I was chosen to be the Imam. Nervous gila hoi! And she corrected me after prayer to read the surah in sequence for Tertib. Contohnya rakaat pertama baca annas tetiba rakaat kedua baca ayat kursi...nonono. Taksesuai katanya.
so fast forward it was 2021.
We went to Halal Ramen 117 as ususal to have our dinner and during the same time there's some egyptian family there. One of them is from the same housing area and we exchange salam. She said she always wanted to say Hi but has no time. Me too. well of course semua org kelam kabut je everyday.
So I knew that her husband was in Kanazawa but I never knew the details(my husband told me).So I asked the duration and what surprise me is they were there in the same years as I am but her husband was doing phd.
So I asked about that hafizah and her whereabout. She was trying to recall name but I could not remember. Then she said..is hafizah a name or the one who memorise Quran? Because she said she is a Hafizah and she did the imam in the international house.
Masha Allah and it was her!ya Allah..the one I was amazed about is just living the next building now! AFter many years and milessss of separation we met again!memang terharu gila la dengan takdir Allah.
She is now blessed with 3 kids and is also having a Quran session in her house during Jumuaah prayer time.Definitely will try to join!
And yang paling best is...that is her first time to the kedai ramen eventhough her kids has been bugging her to go there but she never wanted to go. memang Allah nak bagi jumpa sungguh.
She left me with a new advice...sister, read Quran even a page a day. Teach your kids a letter a day. Even a letter.
Harapnya perjumpaan kali kedua ini membuah cinta yang lebih dalam kepada Al Quran. Meberi manfaat untuk agama dan keluarga.
Kadang kita tak tahukan..kebaikan mana yang orang ingat sampai bila bila when what we did was what we should have done. Tapi kebaikan yang sedikit tp ikhlas tu Allah pahatkan dalam hati orang sampai bila bila.
Semoga kita semua dapat terus beramal dengan al Quran di tahun yang bakal kite tempuhi ini.
